Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to many court records under the Kansas Open Records Act and Kansas Supreme Court access rules. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file. The Clerk of the District Court handles Finney County District Court case records, including felony, civil, domestic, probate, juvenile, small claims, state traffic, and marriage-license court functions. Garden City Municipal Court handles city ordinance, traffic, parking, code, and misdemeanor matters within city limits. The Sheriff manages jail roster and warrant information, while the County Clerk handles county administration, elections, and county open-records coordination.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
